Description
This Fashion Makeup course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of applying makeup for runway shows, fashion shoots and red-carpet fashion events. The course will cover topics such as colour theory, skin tones, face anatomy, contouring techniques and makeup hygiene, The class will provide hands-on experience and practical skills to help students develop their own unique style and expand their opportunities in the fashion and beauty industry.

Topic 2
- Importance of hygiene and sanitation in Fashion Makeup
- Face structure and anatomy
- Skin types and skin tones
- Products and techniques for mature skin
- Understanding client needs and requests
- Makeup application techniques
- Skin preparation
- Creating the Natural look
Topic 3
- Introduction to Fashion Week and backstage etiquette
- Using unconventional materials and vibrant Makeup
- Creating the Avant-garde, Showstopper Makeup look
- Applying false lashes
- Emphasising and enhancing with glitter, crystals, & feathers
- Contouring techniques
- Developing looks according to Fashion Designe
Topic 4
- Creating Costing plans and specification sheets for draped garments.
- Introduction to Jacket draping.
- Draping techniques for collars and necklines
- Sustainable draping techniques while using the miniature mannequin

Internships and the work placement program is only in conjunction with the Professional Practice Diploma. If you would like work placements it is recommended to take the higher Diploma.
