Training Diploma in Design Programmes
Description
The Training Diploma in Design Programmes is a technical syllabus designed to equip students with computer programming skills for the Interior Design and Architecture field. The Diploma program will start from the basics of computer handling and no prior entry requirements are required. The Designers Studios approach to programme computer learning is based on building blocks. With a strong foundation, students can develop and grow their skills with confidence. Students will have in studio group sessions and access to detailed tutor notes and videos to assist them outside of the classroom.

What does the course cover?
Students who wish to complete a Training Diploma in Design Programmes with the Designers Studio will need to complete 7 courses with us, this must include the following:

SketchUp Level 1 and 2

Vray for SketchUp (Level 3)

AutoCAD Level 1 and 2

Photoshop Level 1
-
Photoshop Portfolio Design (Final Course)
The bundle package offers the aforementioned courses at a discounted rate. Diploma students are encouraged to complete the courses back to back however can take more time if needed (max of 3 years from start date). For more information please view the Diploma page.

Objectives
- To develop students technical computer knowledge, skills in the creative and technical aspects of interior design and in the specialist skills associated with the profession
- To promote the attainment of the skills and knowledge required to gain appropriate professional status in the design discipline.

Cost
- 16,500 AED if purchased as a bundle package.
- Students can purchase courses for Diploma individually however must give a 1000 AED deposit redeemable against their last (Photoshop Portfolio) course.

Available for online training?
Partly- AutoCad 2, Vray and Photoshop for portfolio design must be taken in studio or via zoom.

Materials
Computer with at least 4GB RAM and a wheel mouse. The software must be purchased at the students own cost. Trail versions will be used for level 1 courses. TDS has student rates with SketchUp.

Internship & Work
Internships and the work placement program is only in conjunction with the Professional Practice Diploma. If you would like work placements it is recommended to take the higher Diploma.

How is the Diploma Accredited?
The internationally recognized Diploma is accredited by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority).

Start any time with a Level 1 course. The course must be completed within 3 years of start date.
