Rock Galpin is an established, furniture and product designer from London. He has
over 28 years industry practice setting up his multidisciplinary design practice Rock
Galpin Studio in Central London in 2005 following the success of his forma design
practice Studio Orange est. in 1995.
Passionate about design, Rock has worked on projects designing furniture
collections for Manufacturer Brands, interior designers, architects and developers to
limited edition pieces for private clients.
Rock’s work has been exhibited in over 40 exhibitions worldwide from Milan, Paris,
Cologne, Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York to London and he has won a number of
awards including The Laurent Perrier Design Award, The Ness Furniture Design
Award and Hiddenart Most Inspiring Designer of The Year Award.
Rock has also been a tutor at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London for
over 23 years working on BA Product Design, MA Industrial Design and now runs a
number of his furniture design courses here in Dubai.
